A news that has shocked Zambia and the rest of Africa in recent time is that the Finance Bank Chairman, Dr. Rajan Mahtani can face some legal charges. Mutembo Nchito has been convicted of nine offences which are of criminal type and now conspirators are trying to frame another malicious attempt to defame Dr. Rajan Mahtani with this news. However, the truth is that Dr. Rajan Mahtani is not facing any charges in his name and it can be regarded that the conspirators have again started to make their presence feel in front of the world. The article talks about Dr. Mahtani forging the signature of the Governor of the Bank of Zambia, Dr. Kalyalya. The claim is as absurd as the argument because there is no proof as evidence that supports the mentioned allegation.
Dr. Rajan Mahtani has continued his career as a pioneer where he has developed Zambia and has also contributed to other parts of Africa such as Ndola. Recently, his cement factory, The Zambezi Portland Cement Factory has shown a record breaking performance by producing 4, 73, 985 tonnes of cement for the year 2014.
