After facing a straight forward defeat in the Lusaka High Court, the conspirators have decided to take the matter away from Zambezi Portland Cement factory and shift the attention to political affairs. Miles Sampa of the Patriotic Front recently resigned from the party because of his willingness to perform under corrupt environment. The same affairs has been cleverly linked with Dr. Rajan Mahtani linked by Zambia Reports, such that they are able to execute the defamation as usual.
Over the years, the Ventriglia family has continuously played the role of silent assassins. They have kept funding Zambia Reports, whose faceless writers continue to contribute with imaginative articles. The arrangement has resulted in serious defamation of the Former Chairman Finance Bank, Dr. Rajan Mahtani.
Given the recent success which Dr. Mahtani had in Zambia had made the conspirators jealous. This is why they were desperately looking for something whereby they can write something against him and feel better. Though the resignation had nothing to do with Dr. Mahtani, the author intentionally placed the name with a view to gain attention. Development of bio-ethanol plant in Luapula Province and takeover of FBZ had given a lot of credit to Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Therefore, the success story was required to be hampered by the conspirators.
In the past, the conspirators have lost the legal battle as well as the moral battle, but it appears that they have not learnt anything from the experience. A well-respected businessman is continuously harassed by a group of Italian Mafias, but the same has been ignored by the Government of Zambia as well. It is sad to see that the person who gave Zambia so much to cheer about has been left alone in the midst of a ground surrounded by the conspirators. Nevertheless, the blessing of Almighty has been always with him and he will overcome this challenge like he did on previous occasions.
