Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani Felicitated By Forbes With ‘Best Of Africa’ Awards

Noted businessman and philanthropist Dr. Rajan Mahtani was recently invited to the 2021 Forbes-FIN roundtable conference. At the same time, he was also conferred with the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ awards during the event. The Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ is one of the most anticipated and notable corporate award ceremonies held across the African subcontinent. The award ceremony is usually part of the annual Forbes-FIN roundtable conference. The 2021 roundtable conference was recently held and despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic conforming the event to online participation, it was an astounding success. The award ceremony is known for recognising and celebrating leading lights across politics, innovation, economy, leadership and business. The award identifies the leaders and visionaries who have as well as continue towards significantly influencing political, leadership, economic and business landscape in Africa. The awards hold special significance as they are conducted after several months of rigorous research as well as thorough verification exercises by both Forbes and FIN. The ‘Best of Africa’ awards for the year 2021 was presented by Mark Furlong who is the President of Forbes Custom Solutions.

For his significant contributions towards the growth and development of the Zambian industries as well as redefining the banking sector of Zambia, Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani was conferred with the Forbes ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award 2021. Dr. Rajan Mahtani’s contributions towards business and philanthropy have been immense. He was the only businessman selected for this award from entire Zambia and it was a significant honour which Dr. Rajan Mahtani accepted with humility.
