Dr. Rajan Mahtani worried about Zambezi Portland Cement

As days go by, the heart of a Zambian sinks in pain to learn the fact that ZPC (Zambezi Portland Cement) is being reduced to an old building with only rubbish at display. The Ventriglia Family, better known as the Ndola Mafias, have simply looted the factory in the past 11 months and all that is left in the factory today is misery, hopelessness and damages beyond replacement. Right from money transfer to asset allocation, the Italian Mafias have left no tables unturned in looting the factory and turning it into an empty box.

Ever since the management was taken over, not a single penny has entered in the bank accounts of the Zambezi Portland Cement. All the realizations were cleanly put in offshore bank accounts which is owned and managed by Antonio Ventriglia and his family. The workers of the factory have seen days worse than hell. Some were fired without any legitimate reason, whereas some continued to be abused by the management. Records suggest that the factory has stopped its operation in December 2015 and since then, last minute plans are being made to wind up and flee to Italy. New dummy companies have been created and about 43 trucks of the factory have been transferred to it. Additionally, the real estate of the factory has also been offered to a company named as Astrea Investment Limited. However, one would be shocked to learn that these dummy companies are owned by the Ventriglias themselves.

The bottom line is, the Ventriglia family came, looted and damaged the resources of Zambia, while the Government of Zambia sat and watched the whole episode. Witnessing the event, Dr. Rajan Mahtani is deeply hurt. It was the same organization which was nurtured by Finsbury Investments and within a matter of months, the same has been brought to a point where it is about to shut down.
