Dr. Rajan Mahtani 2015As the New Year arrives, Chairman of Finance Bank Zambia, Dr. Rajan Mahtani has plenty to offer to the people of Zambia. On the eve of New Year, Dr. Mahtani thought of giving Zambia a small gift in form of depositing K90 million to the treasury of Zambian Government. This fund has been deposited with view to nurture development and assist Zambia in gaining the status of a fast developing nation in Africa.

There has been a string of contributions made by the Finance Bank in recent time. It was only months back when the FBZ had opened a bank account for the ‘veterans of war’  with an initial deposit of K 50000. The account was accessible to all senior citizens who had fought for Zambia’s independence. Additionally, there are also numerous funds where Dr. Mahtani has contributed a healthy sum for education of children and adults. However, this time the amount which has been deposited is fairly large and can make a change in the pace of Zambia’s development.

Finance Bank Zambia is all set to start its share trading operations on the LuSE (Lusaka Stock Exchange) from the first quarter of 2015 and moreover, it is also eyeing on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange. No doubt, this is one of Zambia’s fastest growing company which is likely to make a big impact in 2015. Zambia and the rest of the world is anxiously waiting to witness a history in the making in 2015.
