When common people come to know that the activities of a particular individual or entity has decreased or interrupted their growth and development, they have every right to dislike them. Simaata Simaata is facing a similar situation now. He was already having a negative reputation for his overly jealous nature and unethical practices. He was sued by Finance Bank Zambia and Dr. Rajan Mahtani at the Supreme Court Zambia for violating agreement terms signed with the bank.
It is easy to see that people who rise in business are the main targets of unethical elements. Dr. Mahtani has established his businesses in Zambia with dedication, hard work and honesty. He has also helped bring foreign investment in the nation, thereby improving its economy. His positive contributions to the society and meaningful partnerships with government and other organizations have made many jealous. As a result, the businessman is often targeted by these conspirators with wrongful defamation campaigns and false news. The objective here is simple-to defame him and damage his reputation as well as businesses. All these activities of the conspirators have been met with failure till now. Almost all of the conspiracy theories were busted after they were found to be false and without any evidence. Dr. Mahtani never involves in any kind of spat with these conspirators.
The situation with Finance Bank Zambia became worse with wrongful testimonials by Simaata and it started to hurt the bank’s operations as well as its customer base. The case launched in the Supreme Court was ultimately won by Finance Bank and the reality of Simaata was known to all. It is no doubt that Simaata has become one of the most criticised individuals in Zambia as of now. On the other hand, Finance Bank is now taking steps towards re-establishing its reputation in the market.
