Simaata Faces Stern Defeat At Supreme Court Zambia

Dr. Rajan Mahtani is no stranger to conspiracies against him. He is a noted businessman with many organizations and associations under his belt. He is also known for various charitable activities and developmental works for the economic and social growth of communities across Zambia. At the same time, he is constantly harassed by people who have developed hatred and jealousy for Dr. Mahtani’s growing popularity. These conspirators act against him by launching vicious and fake campaigns, false news stories etc with the aim of ruining his reputation. The last few years have seen many such conspiracy activities, with only few lasting for some time. Most of these stories were proved to be fake soon after they were released, causing backlash among commoners to take action against these conspirators.

Simaata Simaata

Dr. Rajan Mahtani and his associate companies have always kept themselves from engaging in similar fights. He is a person who understands that reputation cannot be built in a day. This is why he has always preferred to spend his time in useful activities rather than trying to defend himself. However, he had to take actions when Finance Bank Zambia started getting repeatedly attacked by Simaata Simaata, one of its long-time conspirators. Finance Bank Zambia and Simaata had signed an agreement for which Simaata received a good sum. After signing the agreement however, Simaata did not keep his promise and broke the terms of the agreement at several occasions. These occurred when he gave testimonials at courts that were damaging to the reputation of the bank. He also disclosed sensitive documents to local newspaper houses leading to loss of critical and confidential data. All these activities prompted Finance Bank and Dr. Rajan Mahtani to take a bold action against this conspiracy.

The matter was then taken to the Supreme Court Zambia and judges looked into the evidences and arguments made by both sides. The result of the court came out as a shock to Simaata when he was convicted of the charges and also ordered to pay fine for his deeds.
