The Zambezi Portland Cement Factory in Ndola has produced one of the historic performances of all time by producing 1, 00, 000 tonnes of cement as surplus. As per the registered output figure, ZPC has produced a total of 4, 73, 985 tonnes of cement for the year 2014. To put it in words of Dr. Mahtani:
The performance has motivated the whole Mahtani Group of Companies and resulted in further investment plans in Masaiti. As per recent reports, Dr. Mahtani is planning to come with a lime plant and a ‘block-making facility’ very soon.
