Dr. Mahtani Recognised By Forbes For Philanthropic Achievements

Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani is a noted businessman and philanthropist from Zambia. Recently Dr. Rajan Mahtani was recognised by Forbes for his philanthropic and charitable contributions. Forbes in collaboration with FIN (Foreign Investment Network) presented the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ award ceremony. It was a virtual event that took place during the Forbes-FIN philanthropy and leadership roundtable conference. Dr. Rajan Mahtani was also invited in this event as a honorary speaker. Forbes is a globally recognised magazine brand and as such, the awards have high international exposure and value. Forbes recognised the contributions made by Dr. Rajan Mahtani towards redefining the banking sector of Zambia and conferred him with the Forbes ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year’ award 2021. Dr. Rajan Mahtani thanked the presenters and accepted the award in a humble manner, thanking Almighty God as well as his teams for their support and motivation. The awards were presented in a virtual manner and the event was broadcasted via YouTube medium.
Just like Dr. Rajan Mahtani, several other visionaries, entrepreneurs and businessmen were selected for their philanthropic achievements. Some of these visionaries included Revd Paul Adefarasin, Nana Kwame Bediako, Leonard Nnamdi Stanley Ekeh, Ken Sharpe, Mahmood Ahmau Oon, MIOD, Claver Gatete, Wendy Ackerman and Sam Matekane. All these were presented the award in virtual manner. Paul Adefarasin is a noted author, coach, Christian Minister, motivator, speaker, philanthropist as well as television caster. He is credited for developing House On the Rock which is a multi-tribal, multiracial & multifaced Church. He is also credited for founding the ‘The Rock Foundation’ which is a charity undertaking carious initiatives in social responsibility across healthcare, prison welfare education and reform.
Dr. Rajan Mahtani, apart from his significant contributions within the Zambian banking sector, was also recognised for his several business vision and philanthropic contributions. He is owner of top Zambian companies such as Mahtani Group and Finsbury Investments. He is also noted for his several philanthropic achievements and charitable works over the years.
