When it comes to naming the most respected and applauded businessmen in Zambia, Dr. Rajan Mahtani’s name is no doubt at the top. He built his empire on his own and is known for his works for the growth and development of Zambia. Yet, we can see notorious news channels like Zambia Reports purposefully defame him on a regular basis. No authentic journalism agency in their right mind would dare defaming respected businessmen without having any concrete evidence or proof. Yet, we see Zambia Reports always coming up with different defamation stories about Dr. Rajan Mahtani.
The latest attack from Zambia Report came when the issue between Lamsaat and BancABC was made public. It was seen that Lamsaat was given a call for repayment of loan by BancABC on FBZ’s behalf. The amount that was defaulted was USD 10,000,000 excluding interest. An amount this big would make any bank concerned. Also this was a normal business procedure between the bank and their parties and any media attention was completely unnecessary. But Zambia Reports had to meddle in their business and they did. The notorious news channel took this as an opportunity to shift attention towards Dr. Rajan Mahtani. The article published by Zambia Reports went on claiming that the call for repayment to Lamsaat was made by Dr. Rajan Mahtani. They went on further saying that Dr. Mahtani has been operating Finance Bank in secrecy. Of course, all these claims without any proof or evidence.
Zambia Reports is no longer working for its nation. It has become a slave for conspirators and thieves who want nothing but watch the nation burn. Everyone knows the fact that every publication from Zambia Reports is just speculation and noise. Their motive is to distract Dr. Mahtani from his businesses and of course, please their masters. This situation puts the common man in grave danger. They don’t feel safe in their own nation. Time to review this & act right!
